Introduction

I’ve created this list of baby and toddler classes and activities over time because I have a little one and have been taking her to a baby or toddler group on a daily basis since she was 2 months old.

This list includes classes in Caterham, Caterham on he Hill, Whyteleafe, Kenley, Warlingham, Woldingham, Sanderstead, Selsdon, South Croydon, Croydon, Addiscombe, West Wickham, Shirley, Purley, Waddon, Wallington, Banstead, Chipstead, Tadworth, Redhill and Reigate.

I love finding new classes, taking her to something different, and providing a variety for her. I found that gave her a lot of confidence, and she wasn’t so attached to my hip.

 

The below list is mainly for babies and toddlers up to the age of 3.

These stay-and-play groups and other engaging activities provide a sanctuary for parents too, fostering a sense of community and mutual understanding.

For those days when a change of scenery is in order, bookmark this resource as your guide to accessible escapes from the confines of home.

BUT – Before venturing out, be sure to check the relevant websites, as these groups may operate on term-time schedules or require pre-booking.

TOP TIP 1: Keep a convenient stash of £1 and £2 coins in your car or changing bag, for some tea-and-biscuits in some places.
TOP TIP 2: I keep sticky socks and normal socks in the car for me and my baby/toddler, as some places require it and we forget, especially in summer when you wear open shoes.

Success Stories of my Clients

I met Ghitta at a local event and chatted to her about needing some help with my son who had a fear of going to the toilet and had been witholding to the point of screaming and crying himself to sleep. She listened to my concerns, she was kind and understanding, and once we had gone over to have our first session I knew we had made the right choice. I was amazed by how she managed to put my son at ease and the results we saw even after just one session were just incredible. I was so impressed by how Ghitta helped me two years ago that I recently sent my 11 year old to her. He suffers badly with anxiety specifically around germs. He washes his hands until they bleed and won’t touch food (or anything) unless he’s washed his hands. After just one session I noticed a positive difference within 24 hours. He went from washing his hands 30x a day to only 6. He even said “it’s nice not to be so afraid of germs anymore”. Can’t wait for his next session!

What actually ended up happening was on 26th March we developed possible covid symptoms in our house. I’m still isolating for another 2 days. My symptoms were so mild that I cannot be sure I had it. I’m in my early 50’s and have been grinding since I was a little girl. Ghitta has helped me with a few other issues and when I mentioned my Bruxism, she said she could help with that too. The teeth-grinding sessions took longer than my other sessions, It was very intense but I realised I had such deeply rooted anger that I was holding on to from my past and it wasn’t easy to let that go. In fact, I am still struggling to come to terms with it. My Bruxism has greatly decreased to the point where I don’t have to wear my mouthguard anymore, but the grinding still pops up now and then. I am however better equipped now to notice when it is popping up and I can clearly link it to my childhood frustrations that I am not quite ready to give up yet.

So, at the beginning, before I started the hypnotherapy treatment I had several months of really bad IBS and sometimes severe nausea to a point where I was missing a lot of time at work just living a miserable life because I’ve had this for a long time. For quite a few years, but at least the last year has been particularly bad. I’ve tried everything! And after starting hypnotherapy, working a lot at home too with the homework given, I began to realise the relation between my mind and my gut and it has been working really really well for me.

Initially, for the last month or so, but particularly the last 2 weeks, I’ve had almost no symptoms.

I would highly recommend hypnotherapy for this and a lot of other things. I feel happy and everything is fine.
